Valerie Quillen, Owner
Taking care of pets has been a "second calling" for Valerie. She has over 6 years of experience taking care of pets and animals. She is very passionate and dedicated to the welfare of animals.
She has experience taking care of all types of breeds and ages of cats and dogs, and also has experience with farm animals (sheep, goats, horses, bunnies, and chickens). She also has experience in taking care of elderly pets, some requiring hospice care, and administering medications. In addition, she has experience with "special needs" animals, including both blind and deaf dogs and cats. Your pet will know that it is loved and can depend on her while you are away.
She has life experiences and maturity, and the ability to apply intelligence and common sense to taking care of both your pets and your home. Before coming to the Napa Valley 8 years ago, she lived in the Bay Area and worked in the SF Financial District, worked at the UC Berkeley Space Sciences Lab, and worked as an assistant to a Forensic Psychologist. She has a BA from Hayward State in Psychology.
Current clients would describe her as reliable and trustworthy and is "their pet's best friend." Please see the Testimonials page for examples of what clients have to say about Valerie.
If Valerie is not available to dog walk or petsit, due to a conflict in scheduling, she has a staff of part-time employees who work with her.
